Shit that will probably never be finished

I hate showing unfinished stuff. Mostly because my way of painting is very chaotic and I have to fix a lot of things before the final painting is satisfying for me. But fuck it, life isn't perfect. So here is a bunch of unfinished stuff from the last 2 years.

I wanted to paint this fanart for a couple of years, but I never felt that I was up to the task. Battlestar Galactica is still my favorite TV-Show and probably always will be. I watch it once a year and it never fails to make me feel like I'm home.

And of course I love Starbuck.

I discovered some old psd files on my hard drive and i started to work on this one again. It's still messy but i want to show some unfinished stuff.

The first thing that i ever felt connected to...

...was music.



I don't see music as entertainment, to me it's an essential part of my life. Just like drawing. One of these passions wouldn't work without the other one. If i would go deaf, it would be just as bad as not being able to draw ever again. This may not seem like anything special, but it's a very personal piece for me. I tried to draw, well... a feeling more or less.

That feeling when I'm listening to a song for the first or the hundredth of time and I'm feeling that inspiration.
When i have the urge to draw something, it almost becomes a physical need.
It's like a flood that is washing over me, making me feel connected to someone, something and everything.
